​PerchmentCraft

Parchment Craft is a craft born in Europe.

By drawing a rough sketch on a special special paper called parchment paper and embossing, cutting, coloring, etc. using various tools, you can process delicate patterns and patterns like lace on the paper.

Its history dates back to the 15th and 16th centuries, and it is said that it originated from the decoration of cards with scriptures, mainly in the Christian community.

Until the 16th century, it was a craft only in Europe, but with the territorial expansion policy of European countries and Christian missionary activities, the technique extends to South America, and various cultural elements are fused.

Since then, new technologies and improvements have been added over time to this day.

At our salon, you can learn the techniques and techniques using the lesson curriculum of an organization called Pergamano, a parchment craft.

16 works for elementary school, 20 works for secondary school, 20 works for high school, and if you wish, lessons are prepared for qualification as a tutor.

◆ All 16 works in the elementary class

Learn the basics of parchment craft. Learn the techniques of tracing with white ink, embossing with shading, and cutting. Learn how to dye with Dorso (oil pastel), color with water-based ink in the second half, and color with PCE (water-based felt-tip pen).

◆ 20 works in secondary class

In addition to the basics learned in elementary school, you will learn delicate lace patterns composed of complex perforating (needle sticking). For painting, you will learn coloring techniques unique to parchment craft, such as gradation coloring that mixes white ink and color ink.

◆ All 20 works in the high school class

In the high school, we produce large A4 size works. Taking advantage of the characteristics of transparent parchment paper, it expresses how to stack paper, and in addition to the basic curriculum design, it is designed by itself considering the needle pattern and the overall composition. We will foster originality and expressiveness.

Tassel Making

Tassel is a handicraft made by bundling threads. It is so old that it is mentioned in the Old Testament, and it blends into many cultures around the world, not just as a decoration. At first, the end of the string was improved to prevent fraying at the knot of the thread, but over time, various types of art were produced in France .

Academic gowns and hats worn for college graduations are well known, but they come with tassel. Before graduation, the tassel is on the right, and after graduation, the tassel is on the left, which symbolizes that one stage of life is over and you are ready for a new future.

At this salon, you can learn the basics and applications of tassel by producing a total of 20 works from beginner to advanced in the official curriculum of the APJ Passementerie Japon Association.

In addition, each one-day lesson will show you N'essence original tassel.

Learn the terms needed for tassel, how to handle threads, wood balls, and tools. While understanding the basic structure of tassel, we will create a simple yet cute tassel.You will learn the basics of production such as color matching with threads and other materials, and harmony of the texture of the materials.

◆ Intermediate class ・ 7 lessons / 6 works

Learn various traditional techniques and techniques used in tassel. We will make tassel that makes the best use of the characteristics of the materials used, such as wool yarn, acrylic yarn, and ribbon. Arrangements that make the most of your individuality will further expand the world of tassel.

◆ Advanced class ・ All 9.5 lessons / 7 works

Delicate work is increased for each part, and while applying the existing technology, we will make 6 more gorgeous and luxurious tassel works. The final work will be judged as a diploma test work, and if it passes, it will be certified as a certified instructor.
